How beautiful! I made a nativity of Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus many years ago from Mrs. Butterworth bottles (I still have some in my shed). I made a set for myself and my grandmother. They were fun - not nearly as beautiful as this though. You are very talented! Do you make your own patterns?

Thanks for the kudos. Yes, I made them up as I went along, and I hope to create this whole set as a pattern packet next year, complete with appropriate animals, but that will take time. When I do, I will probably include a full stump body, too. The effect would be the same.
I have done a few simpler patterns, in the past. I also make many dolls from purchased patterns, and there are so many wonderfully talented designers out there! I have quite a few patterns that I have yet to make up, but have been inspired by them.
